Carol F. (Ehrgood) Trudeau, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Springfield to the late Donald E. and Dorothy (Forbes) Ehrgood. She retired in 1997 after 15 years as a home health aide for Stavros. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, enjoyed camping at Cape Cod, watching NASCAR and Red Sox, but mostly enjoyed backyard fires with her family and friends. Carol was predeceased by her husband John H. Trudeau in 1995, her son Henry J. Trudeau in 2002 and two siblings Donald Ehrgood and Patricia Shaub. She is survived by her daughters, Dennise L. Colson and her husband Wayne in Southwick and Vicki L. Benford and her husband Brooks of Russell, her brother Douglas Ehrgood of New York, her sisters, Diane Kozak and her husband Hank and Marilyn Guevin, all of Westfield, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at 4PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. Visiting hours will precede the service from 2-4PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of her family.
