Westfield-Carrie J. (Yon) Walts, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 6, 2017 in Baystate Noble Hospital. She was born in Springfield on May 29, 1984. She grew up in Feeding Hills and attended local schools and was a 2002 graduate of Agawam High School. She received her B.A. Degree from Westfield State College. Carrie was employed by Lathrop Retirement Communities in Easthampton, MA. She leaves her husband of 9 years Joshua Walts; their son Nikolas Joshua Walts; her loving parents Robert H. Yon and Carolyn J. (Jensen) Yon of Feeding Hills; her brother Dan Yon and his wife Jaime of Odessa, Texas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Maryanne Walts of Westfield; and her two brother-in-laws; Jonathan and Justin of Westfield; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her best buddy Abbey who will miss her dearly. The funeral Mass for Carrie will be held on Monday, November 13, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. Burial will follow in Springfield Street Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Sunday at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 2-4 pm.
