Westfield-DeAnna T. Porter, 79, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at home. She was born on June 8, 1938 in Westfield to the late Leon and Catherine (Malochleb) McNamee. She grew up in Westfield and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She was a charge nurse at Mount St. Vincent Nursing Home and retired from Providence Hospital. She leaves her children Robert Porter and his wife Janet, Kelly Pease and her husband Todd and Brian Porter and his wife Suzannah, her sister Catherine Tobias and her husband Joseph all of Westfield. She also leaves many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her sister Maureen McGovern. The funeral for DeAnna will be held on Saturday January 6th at 9 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by A Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Road Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
