Diane M. (Florence) Florence

Diane M. Florence, 68, passed away at Western Mass Hospital, Westfield. She was born in Westfield to the late Ernest and Cecelia (Guay) Florence. She resided at the Weldon Building in Greenfield for many years, until her illness. She enjoyed many friendships in and around the Weldon community and her last employment was at the Town of Bernardston for many years. Diane enjoyed traveling, taking day trips, volunteering at hospitals, loved animals, knitting and crocheting. She was very religious and was close with her family and inspired them by always having a smile. Diane was predeceased by her parents and is survived by her loving siblings, her brother Joseph E. Florence of Huntington and her sister, Sylvia A. Florence and many friends from Westfield, Northfield and Greenfield. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield. Burial will be held in the spring in St. Thomas Cemetery, Huntington, MA. A Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 9-10AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA, 01085.
