Dorothy E. (Peterson) Kelly, 81, passed away on March 3, 2017 in Wingate of Sharon, MA. She was born in Quincy, MA to the late Charles and Dorothy (Thomas) Peterson and was a 1952 graduate of Quincy High School. Dorothy worked for the Brockton school system for many years. In recent years she lived in Asheville, N.C. and the American Inn in Southwick. She enjoyed sewing, reading and bear collecting. Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband Robert Kelly of Southwick, a daughter Laurie of Bridgewater, stepson James and his wife Denise of Westfield, a son Steve, granddaughter Rebecca and a few great grandchildren. There are no calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the public libraries of Southwick and Agawam.
