She worked on a number of Flu Clinics and was an active member at the Polling Stations during elections. Being interested in travel she went on trips in the U.S., Canada and Europe. On one vacation she visited her parent’s birthplace in Lithuania. Reading and gardening were also avid pastimes. Eva was predeceased by her devoted husband of nearly 40 years John F. Martone who passed in 1988 as well as her loving brother Walter Kasheta. She and Walter shared day trips, concerts and dinners before he passed in 2005. She is survived by her loving daughter Lora Martone of Westfield and her partner Michael Snyder. Michael was a loyal friend who shared afternoon chats and lunches with Eva. She is also survived by two loving nieces Jane Martone of Huntington and Marie Alvarez of Southwick as well as by a special niece Patricia Stefanik and her husband Jack of Cape Coral Florida. Eva enjoyed immensely dining out and about with her family. She also especially enjoyed her gatherings with girlfriends often hosted by her dear friend of many years Jeannine Gonella of Feeding Hills.
