Frances M. Wegman, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 26, 2016 in the Osceola Healthcare Center in St. Cloud, Florida. She was born in Springfield, MA to the late Frank and Antoinette (Twarog) Kohanski. Frances was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Polish National Catholic Church in Westfield and formerly of Holy Mother of the Rosary Church in Chicopee. She loved crocheting, loved her birds, she attended the Osceola Council of Aging in St. Cloud , FL and was a Girl Scout Leader for over 25 years. Frances was predeceased in 2002 by her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert Wegman, two brothers, Edward and Frank Kohanski and a sister Evelyn Rybak. She is survived by her loving children, Janet Sullivan-Davis and John of St. Cloud, FL, Cindee Gagnon and Edward of Ellington, CT, Jennifer Robinson and Michael of Easthampton, MA, Stacie Warrick and John of East Liverpool, OH and R. Christopher Wegman and Ellen of Wales, MA, her sister, Mary A. Roy of West Springfield, MA, 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 9AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA followed by a Mass at 10AM in St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church, 73 Main St. Westfield, MA. Burial will be beside her husband in Holy Mother of the Rosary Cemetery, Rzasa Dr. Chicopee, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
