Gerald R Duprey

Blandford-Gerald R Duprey, 72, died Thursday January 25, 2018 in Baystate Noble Hospital. He was born in Holyoke on March 22, 1945 to the late Eugene and Natalie Duprey. He grew up in Chicopee attended local schools and was a 1963 graduate of Chicopee Voke. He worked at National Felt in Easthampton and then worked for the Mass Turnpike Authority as a foreman and retired in 2009. Gerald enjoyed doing mechanical work, boating and spending time with his family. He leaves his wife Linda A.(Joyal) Duprey, his children Gerald Duprey Jr. of Deleware, Michael Duprey of CT, Stephanie Guertin of Springfield, Jodie Savage of Westfield and Jason Savage of Blandford, 7 grandchildren and 3 brothers Eugene, Ken and Richard Duprey. The funeral for Gerald will be held on Friday at 1:30 pm from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 12 noon till 1:30 pm on Friday.
