Condolences to Ponchos family, he will be missed by all that new him. I do remember the last time I saw him, he had just came from Church and we spent some time together going through the past. I'm sure Ponch had a relationship with his Lord and Savior and is riding in the Heavens. Henry was a respectable guy to his family and friends. I hope to ride again with him someday, love and miss you, Ponch.

Mitchell,

Thank you for remembering my father and posting this on here. I'm most sure he is riding on his shiny hog with the wind in his hair and as carefree as he was in life.

Bless you,
Poncho's Son, Ricky

Lorrie,
Thank you so much for your very sweet note. We most certainly do appreciate you taking the time to put something on here. He's in a better place with his Mom and Dad. He will naturally be missed by all. We're sad to hear of our little sister Shaunna being equally heartbroken. He definitely was a very good Dad to her and was a big part of her life in growning up. We send our love to you and Shaunna. We're sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad as well. May God bless you both and keep you safe. Our thoughts, prayers and love will always be with you both.

May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon yours fields and, until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

I'm so sorry to everyone that it's taken me so long to even respond. It's been 3 months and still so hard. Thank you for all your caring comments.....I just don't really know what to say or how to say it. This picture of him is the real Poncho, a very caring person who had a hard life, of his own doing. He idolized his Mom, as she was not only the person who nurtured him but also the one to stand up to him. He also respected and, was exceptionally proud of his children, Ricky, "Maggie" and Dionne, all of whom have done good things in their lives. Not to discount anything his daughters have done but, he and Ricky kept in touch and he was SO very proud of him, a very decorated serviceman. I just miss him so much and can only hope he's with the woman he loved the most in his life.....his Mom
