Jane M (Hatton) Lyons

Jane M. (Hatton) Lyons, 83, passed away peacefully on April 8th at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Born in Westfield, MA to the late Margaret M. (Burns) and Arthur J. Hatton, she attended Westfield High School and St. Francis Nursing School in Hartford, CT. Jane worked as a registered nurse in Westfield area hospitals and skilled nursing. Jane had a great love for animals especially her first dog Skippy. She loved walking the beach looking for shells and being near the ocean. She also enjoyed playing the slot machines at the casino hoping for the big "jackpot". Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, John (Jack) Lyons of Agawam, MA. her loving children, Michael J. Lyons of Pittsfield, MA and Linda J. Lyons and her wife Susan of Bonita Springs, FL. A memorial service will be held at St. Mary's Church in Westfield, MA on April 12, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
