Joe was my first real friend and my best friend growing up. I just want you to know, that even though I haven't seen Joe or you for almost 20 years now, I still think about him from time to time. That's how special Joe was to me.

I am so sorry for your loss and for the lateness of this condolence. Joe was such a great guy and I remember looking up to him in WHS, in the band room, and on the rugby field. While our interactions were limited, he was clearly one of the most genuine people I've known, full of quick-witted retorts and always first to lend a hand. I will miss him and wish the best for his family and friends these coming holidays.

I am so saddened to hear of your loss. I remember Joe fondly from WHS, and how much his family always supported him. He was such a good athlete, student, and person. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Joe and Jen and Family-

I have admired the Giffune Family and my heart breaks for all of you for the loss of your beautiful son. The word that comes to mind when I think back of elementary school of Joe would be KIND and just a stand up guy- and learning just the last few days that he has been living his dream truly how many of us can say that - an inspiration. With heartfelt condolences, Mary Pat and Mike Smith
