My deepest sympathies to Dick's family and friends. "Dick", as he was known to many of us, was a true gentleman and a classic aviator. I met him many years ago when he worked for the FAA at Westfield-Barnes Airport. He was one of those memorable people who was always ready to help and frequently had a smile for everyone. As one friend commented "They simply don't make them like Dick anymore." Thanks for being such a memorable figure in the lives of so many aviators.
