Linda J. (Alexander) Hines, 59, passed away on April 23, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston surrounded by her loving family.  Linda spent most of her life in Springfield where she was predeceased by her beloved parents Robert and Mary (Davenport) Alexander. She worked as a Radiation Therapist for over 25 years at Baystate Medical Center. Linda provided love and comfort to so many patients during their sickest days. She had a passion for life and enjoyed hobbies such as cooking, gardening and playing Keno. Linda considered her greatest accomplishment as becoming a mother and is survived by her four loving children, Christian Robak of Springfield, Emile Hines of Worcester, Janea Barrett and her husband Timothy of Westfield, Amanda Hines and her wife Christina Hines of Westfield. She is also survived by her only brother Robert Alexander and his wife Diana of Hampden and her six extremely cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Ella, Jaxon, Collin, June and Cormac. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Wednesday at 7PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085. Visiting hours will precede the service from 5-7PM in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of her family.
