MaryAnn Templeman

Springfield-MaryAnn E. Templeman, 70, died Sunday February 11, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Westfield on May 23, 1947 to the late Bruce and Anne Bennett. She grew up in Westfield and attended St. Mary’s Schools. As a lifelong learner, she also attended STCC, Westfield State College and received her Master’s Degree from Springfield College. She was a free-spirited dog lover and avid reader. She leaves her daughter Beth Templeman of Springfield, her sister Lucy and husband Richard Discenza of Westfield, her cousin Stephen Cressotti of Westfield and her niece Marie Discenza of Boston. The funeral for MaryAnn will be held on Friday February 16th at 9:30 am by the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Foundation, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215 or the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
