Maryellen (Warrington) Wilkins, 88 died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was born September 1, 1927 to the late Sodar and Hannah (Weinstein) Warrington in Baltimore, Md.. She spent her youth in Easton Md. before moving to Averil Park NY. She has been a resident of Westfield for the past 49 yrs. A member of the First United Methodist church and Westfield Womens club. She was known for her beautiful gardens and was an acknowledged artist and an accomplished doll maker. Maryellen is survived by her husband of 64 yrs. Frederick J. Wilkins her son Keith Wilkins of Westfield, her daughter Whitney and her husband Stephen Spooner of Hudson, NY., her grandsons Robert F. Nordin of Manhattan, NY., Gregory T. Nordin of Long Island NY. and Ryan C. Nordin of Brooklyn, NY. as well as numerous nieces and nephews across the country. She was pre-deceased by 7 siblings.
