Nancy Ann (Tenney) Karpovich (87) born June 29, 1928 in Springfield , Ma  passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 15, 2016 in Agawam MA. She was the daughter of the late Herbert & Maude (Scott) Tenney. She was the loving wife of Peter Karpovich who pre deceased her in 1992. Nancy leaves her daughter Deborah O’Brien & husband Steven of Marshfield, MA her daughter Jennifer Wilson and husband Mark of Westfield Ma her daughter Gretchen Boss and husband Chris of West Springfield, Ma and daughter Diane Carlson of Lexington, Ma.  She was pre deceased by her only son Gregory W. Bechle.  She was Bunga to her 6 beautiful grandchildren Liselle O’Brien Aresty, Kevin O’Brien, Nicholas Boss, Brendan Boss, Andrew Wilson and Ryan Wilson. She resided for many years in Simsbury, Ct – Longmeadow, MA and Marshfield, Ma. Nancy was a 1944 graduate of Classical High School in Springfield, MA and graduated top of her class from Hartford School of Nursing in 1949. She worked at Hartford Hospital for most of her career retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Simsbury Light Opera Company in the 60’s & 70’s. She was a past Member & President of the Marshfield Seaside Garden Club and the Marshfield Community League. Also, she was a longtime member of the North Community Church in Marshfield. Nancy was an avid gardener, reader and wonderful cook. She enjoyed traveling, the beach and spending time with her family.
