Sandra L (Fox) Wantuch

Westfield-Sandra L. Wantuch, 73, of Westfield passed away with family by her side on February 20, 2018. She was the daughter of John W. Fox and Frances (Baker) of Westfield. Sandy worked as a bus monitor for Lecrenski Busses and as a matron at Westfield Technical Academy where she loved interacting with the students and staff. She enjoyed traveling and polka dancing with the original crazy 12. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends at Rocco’s and hanging out with her grandchildren and family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Stanley J. Wantuch Jr. and her daughter Katherine “Trin” Wantuch. She leaves her daughters Kelly (O’Connor) Bebber and her husband Andrew of Florida, their children Danielle and Samantha, daughter Kimberlee (O’Connor) Hosmer and her husband Timothy and their children Stephanie, Adam, Erik and Victoria, daughter Kristie (Wantuch) Healey and her longtime boyfriend Marc Franceschet his children Marc and Tabitha and her children Amber and Jessica, her daughter Kerrie (Wantuch) Marcoulier and her husband Josh and their son Jakob. She also leaves her sister Barbara Fox and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart. Sandy was pre-deceased by her siblings John Fox, Elaine Normantowicz, Ralph Fox, Dorothy Hansen and Vivian Laizer and her first husband Victor O’Connor. The funeral for Sandy will be held on Saturday February 24th at 10 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4-6 pm. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Sandy may be made to Westfield Technical Academy, 33 Smith Avenue, Westfield, MA 01085.
