Westfield-Theresa Edna (Couture) Beaulieu passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2017, at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late Edmond Couture and Florence Guilbault. Theresa was born in Holyoke, MA and lived in Granby prior to moving to Westfield, MA. She will be greatly missed by Norman Beaulieu, her loving husband of 64 years, and their children, Louise McLaughlin and husband, Gary of Northwood, NH; Joanne Spath and husband, Les of Southampton, MA; and Donald Beaulieu and wife, Tracy of Alexandria, NH. She will be remembered for her selfless, loving nature and her willingness to help others. She opened her heart and home to all those that she knew. She was a gifted person that loved to crochet and give beautiful gifts to others. Theresa's joy in life was her family which included her grandchildren – Heather McLaughlin and husband, David Geisman of Boulder, MT; Rachel Corson and husband, Michael of Northwood, NH; Sara Chouinard and husband, Thomas of Barnstead, NH; Troy Spath and Samantha of Easthampton, MA; Will Spath and Lily of Southampton, MA. Theresa has 11 great-grandchildren: Courtney Corson, Sam Corson, Collin Edwards, Kyra Edwards, Skylar McLaughlin, Cameron Geisman, Zachary Chouinard, Ashley Chouinard, Thomas Chouinard Jr., Emily Chouinard (predeceased), and Mason Spath. She also has one great-great grandchild, Kinsley Corson. Theresa was the oldest of 13 children and is survived by siblings Rena Ducharme, Rose Phoenix, Ernest Couture, Pauline Gerken, Francis Couture, Linda Couture and Diane Nutting, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings, Robert Couture, Ann Pierce, Leonard Couture, Sonny Couture and Shirley Couture.Theresa was employed for many years by Dinn Brothers Trophy of Holyoke, MA, where she enjoyed many friendships and thought of them as her second family. The funeral for Theresa will be held on Monday Morning June 5th. Calling hours will be held at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 8:30 am till 10:30 am. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 am. Burial will follow in Forestdale Cemetery, West in Holyoke.firtionadams.com
