William Serrano, 60, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2016 at the Governor’s Center in Westfield. He was born in Springfield to the Angel Luis Serrano, Sr. and Gregoria (Garcia) Serrano. Willy enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar; he loved to write letters and songs and loved to eat with family and friends. He is survived by his parents, Gregoria and Angel Luis Serrano, Sr., his loving sisters, Gloria Rivera, Ana Santiago, Evelyn Serrano and Sandra Loya, all of Westfield, his loving brothers, Domingo Serrano of Westfield, Angel Luis Serrano Jr. and Carlos Serrano, both of Virginia, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Carmen Ramos in 2007. His funeral will be held on Wednesday with a liturgy of Christian Burial at 12:30PM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield.  Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield.
