Bogdan Halama

Westfield-Bogdan Halama, 51, died Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston. He was born in Dabrowa Tarnowska, Poland on January 14, 1967 to the late Wladyslaw and Rozalia (Skowron) Halama. He came to this country in 1985 and has lived in Westfield since 2002. He previously owned and operated B&J Auto Repair in Ludlow. He also worked for Ahlstrom Munksjo in Windsor Locks, CT. He leaves his wife of 30 years Anna (Deptula) Halama, his children Daniel, Sebastian and Sylvester Halama all of Westfield. He also leaves his sisters Dorota Chrzan and her husband Jan of Berlin, CT and Alicja Boratynska of Poland. A Funeral Mass for Bogdan will be held in Holy Trinity Church, 335 Elm Street, Westfield, MA at 1:15 pm on Wednesday February 14th. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery, South Hadley. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 13th from 5-8 pm at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
