Westfield-Charles A. Albertson Jr., 63, died Monday, February 11, 2019 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Springfield on November 14, 1955. He grew up in Springfield and Wilbraham and was a graduate of Minnechaug High School. He was also a graduate of Western New England College where he played football. He worked at his family business Western Mass Snacks for over 30 years. He was a member of the Springfield Elks, was an avid golfer and played with a group of his lifelong friends. Charles enjoyed attending his children’s sporting activities. He leaves his wife of 36 years Holly A. (Gallagher) Albertson, his children Dean Albertson and his wife Ashleigh of Huntington and Lee Alberston of Westfield, his grandchildren Eloise, Anna, Faye, his mother Marjorie (LaBorde) Albertson of Wilbraham. He also leaves his brothers William Albertson and his wife Sheila of Wilbraham, Edward Albertson of Wilbraham and John Albertson of Ludlow and his nephew and nieces. He was pre-deceased by his father Charles A. Albertson Sr. Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 18th at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 4-6:30 pm.
