I met Charlie last year during a running club 5K at Ashley Reservoir. I was new to running and taking a walking break when Charlie caught up to me, encouraged me to run and ran with me to the finish line even though he was much faster. I often think of him when I'm running and he still motivates me. I'm glad I had the chance to meet Charlie and I'll always remember his kindness and determination. I am so very sorry for your loss.
