Daniel E Moore

Westfield -Daniel E. Moore, 67, passed away on Friday July 26, 2019 at home. He was born in Springfield, Ma on January 24, 1952 to the late Philip and Katherine (O’Neil) Moore. He grew up in Westfield and was a 1970 graduate of St Mary’s High School. He Married Katherine J. (Kane) Moore in 1972. He worked for Columbia Bicycle for 20 years, the former Moldcraft for 10 years and retired, this year, from C&S Wholesaler after 20 years of service. He enjoyed listening to music (especially the Beatles.) He was an avid fan of all the local sports teams and you would always find him watching the Sox, Patriots or Celtics. He was pre-deceased by his wife Katherine on March 25, 2019. He leaves his children Stephanie A. Dintzner and her husband Mark, Elizabeth K. Hall and her husband Dennis and Daniel P. Moore and his wife Jodie all of Westfield, his eight cherished grandchildren Joey, Julia, Dennis, Mikey, Abigail, Patrick, Jack and Edward. He also leaves his siblings Thomas Moore of Easthampton, Kathleen Moore and Diane Wright both of Westfield along with many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister Rosemary Moran. Calling hours will be held Thursday August 1st from 9am-10:30am at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St, Westfield. A funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s church at 11am with the burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
