Dennis R. Menard

Dennis R. Menard, 68, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in Holyoke to the late Laurent and Jeanne (Dulude) Menard and was a graduate of South Hadley High School and Holyoke Community College.  Dennis worked as an executive account manager for Nabisco for over 30 years, and in 2006 he started his dream job Menard Construction and Design with his son Craig.  Dennis "worked hard and played hard".  He loved to vacation with his family at the beaches on Cape Cod.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Nancy T. (Guerin) Menard of Westfield, his loving children, Erin N. Menard-Johnston and her wife Erica H. of Southampton, Craig D. Menard and his wife Angela M. of Southampton and Sharon D. Greany and her husband Michael R. of Westfield, along with his six adoring grandchildren, the apples of his eye, Tyler, Patrick, Jacob, Zachary, Elise and Katherine.  He also leaves his brothers, Laurent Menard and his wife Roseanne of Enfield, CT, Robert Menard of S. Hadley and James Menard and his wife Lisa of S. Hadley, a sister Diane Casey and her husband Thomas of Ludlow, sisters-in-law Donna Guerin of Chicopee, Laurel Cawley and her husband Edward of PA, and many cherished nieces and nephews.  Dennis’ funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:30AM from the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield.  Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, Western Ave. Westfield.  Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.  Since he instilled the importance of education on to his children, donations in Dennis’ name may be directed to the Westfield Bank FBO/ Dennis R.
