Edgar A “Bim” Collis Jr., age 65, died peacefully at home on Monday July 29th, 2019. Eddie is survived by his wife Fay, of Westfield MA; his daughter Amy and her fiance Todd Starzyk of West Springfield, MA; his son Neil and wife his Melanie of Westfield MA; grandchildren Kelsey, Garrett, Graden, and Kolbie; sisters Norene Martin of Shelburne Falls, MA, Emelene St Jean of Westfield MA, Marlene Collis of West Gouldsboro ME, and Charlene Farris of Warren MA; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ed is preceded in death by his mother Madelene Collis, of West Springfield MA; and brother Neil Hale, of Hinsdale, NH. Edgar was born on November 22nd, 1953 in Bernardston Ma to parents Edgar and Madelene. He graduated from Westfield Vocational School in 1971. He worked at Eastwood Carriers for over 35 years. Eddie was a great family man and a loving father. He was a generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and DIY projects.There will be no funeral or services. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Eddie’s life on Saturday, August 10th, at East Mountain Country Club at 2pm.
