Esther E (Hague) Avery

Russell-Esther E. (Hague) Avery, 96, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Governor’s Center Nursing Home. She was born in Russell, MA to the late Alfred and Marietta (Theboto) Hague. Esther was very active in the VFW Auxiliary in Russel for many years and loved to play bingo. She is survived by a son Michael J. Avery of Westfield, a sister Audrey Whitman of Feeding Hills, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Sadly she was predeceased by her husband George B. Avery in 2005, a son George B, Avery, Jr. in 2012, a sister, Barbara Fournier, and four brothers, Richard, Alfred, Charles and Thomas Hague. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday at 1PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by burial in Russell Cemetery, Russell, MA. A Visiting hour will precede the service from 12-1PM in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
