Evelyn A. (Rodden) Barthelette

Evelyn A. (Rodden) Barthelette, 98, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Governor’s Center. She was born in Westfield to the late George and Laudina (Guerin) Rodden. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Anderson and Sons in Westfield. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas, playing games with her grandchildren, sewing and cross stitching. Mostly Evelyn loved spending time with her family.  Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry M. Barthelette, her sister, Rita D. Rodden and two brothers, George R. Rodden and Raymond W. Rodden. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce R. Lambert and her husband Bruce of Southwick, Lynn A. Gelineau and her husband Roland of Agawam, Thomas R. Barthelette and his wife Michelle of Myrtle Beach, SC and Jeffrey P. Barthelette and his wife Terri of Hatfield. She also leaves ten grandchildren, Bruce Lambert, Jr., Scot Lambert, Todd Lambert (Tessa), Nicole Jensen Jones (Alan), Heather Jensen Allen (Chris), Traci Barthelette, Kimberli Barthelette, Sara Barthelette Lackie, Randy Barthelette (Lisa) and Timothy Barthelette, sixteen great grandchildren, Meg, Kate, Jacquelynn, Korina, Brooke, Shaunessey, Alexandria, Jacob, Emily, Elizabeth, Ryan, Olivia, Zachary, Dylan, Owen and Katie, as well as 2 great great grandchildren, Christopher and Jameson. A Funeral Mass will be held for Evelyn on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 11AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 127 Holyoke Rd. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield.
