George "Jake" Jasmin

George E. “Jake” Jasmin, Sr., 85, passed away at home on Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was born in Westfield to the late Wilfred and Violet (Lawton) Jasmin. Jake worked as a truck driver for over 43 years, 23 years for Thomas Williams Movers, 10 years for T.J. Welch in Southwick and 10 years for Waste Management. He was a member of the former Eagles in Westfield. Jake’s family would like to thank his “girls” at Noble Rehab for the care and support given to him over the past several years. Jake is survived by his beloved wife Patricia E. (Saidak) Jasmin of Westfield, a daughter, Gail M. Urban and her husband Andrew of Westfield, a son Guy M. Jasmin and his wife Linda of Illinois, seven grandchildren, Kayla Jasmin of Russell, Nathan Urban of Colorado, Natalie Urban of Westfield, Hayden Jasmin of Westfield, Tyler Jasmin, Jackson Jasmin and Andrew Jasmin, all of Illinois and a great grandson, Andrew Jasmin of Illinois. He was predeceased by two sons, George E. “Jake” Jasmin, Jr and Gary E. Jasmin and his siblings, Raymond, Robert, Henry, Arthur, Alfred, Josephine, Lena and Virginia. Visiting hours for Jake will be held on Friday from 4-6PM with a service at 6PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad ST. Westfield, MA 01085. www.firtionadams.com
