George E. "Jake" Jasmin

George (Jake) E. Jasmin, Jr. passed away after a courageous battle on March 4, 2019. He was born on July 9, 1962 in Westfield, MA, the son of George (Jake) Edward and Patricia (Saidak) Jasmin, of Westfield. Jake was a graduate of Westfield Vocational High School, where his passion for getting his hands dirty began. A few short years later Jake started his own glass company, Agawam Glass and Mirror. He then went on to work for Lessard Property Management, where he spent the rest of his career. Jake always had a strong work ethic and will always be remembered as a hard-working man. In his free time Jake enjoyed golfing, listening to his music, working in his yard alongside his loyal companion Duke, and fixing Jeeps (especially his daughter Kayla’s). The bond that he shared with his daughter was the greatest joy of his life. Jake was loved deeply and will be missed by many. He is survived by his daughter Kayla Jasmin and her partner, Brett Mollison of Russell; his parents, George (Jake) and Patricia Jasmin of Westfield; a sister Gail Urban and her husband Andrew of Westfield; a brother Guy Jasmin and his wife Linda of Burbonnais, IL; nephews Nathan, Hayden, Tyler, Jackson and Andrew and a niece, Natalie. Jake was predeceased by a brother, Gary Jasmin; his best friend Frank Tatro; and his loyal dog, Duke. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 9 from 4-7pm at Firtion Adams Funeral Home.
