Holyoke-Germaine T. “Gerry” (Bolduc) Early, 89, died Monday, November 27, 2017 in the Loomis House in Holyoke. She was born in Chicopee on June 8, 1928 to the late Albert and Jennie (Skelling) Bolduc. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School. Gerry has lived in Deerfield Beach, FL for 30 years. She owned and operated Yarns and Things in Holyoke for many years. She also worked for Holyoke Valve and Hydrant and was the first woman to receive the Woman in Construction Industry Award. Gerry also loved her animals and making crafts. She was pre-deceased by her first husband Harold C. Tower in 1990 and her second husband John “Jack” J. Early in 2005. She leaves her son Paul H. Tower and his wife Sandra of Montgomery and their children Laurie Webb, Sarah Albitz, Katelyn Tower and Robert Tower and two other grandchildren Shane Tower and Jenny Tower with six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She also leaves two brothers Claude Bolduc of Kansas and Raymond Bolduc of New Jersey. Her dream was to go back to Deerfield Beach, FL and her family will be doing this in the spring. The family would like to thank the Loomis House for the wonderful care they gave to Gerry. The funeral and burial will be private.
