Glenn R. Gabinelle, 71, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, passed away peacefully this past Sunday, January 6th, 2019. Glenn was born in New Haven, CT on July 13th, 1947. Predeceased by his father, Frank Gabinelle, in 2007, he leaves behind his mother, Ellen (Ghirardini) Gabinelle, of Wallingford, CT. Glenn leaves the love of his life and wife, Sue (Feeser) Gabinelle, after 43 years of marriage. He is survived by his eldest daughter, Carrie Duda of South Deerfield, MA, his youngest daughter, Catherine Valentine and husband, Sean, of Kaneohe, HI, and his younger brother, Gregg Gabinelle and wife, Deb, of West Harford, CT. Additionally, Glenn is survived by his 9-year old triplet grandchildren, Alexander, Gabriella, and Zophia Duda, nephews Ryan and John Gabinelle, and many cousins. A proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, Glenn went on to graduate with an MBA from University of Hartford while developing an impressive resume specializing in security systems, sales, and international business. He resided in Westfield, MA for more than 24 years and has enjoyed living his last decade in the warmer weather of Jacksonville. Known affectionately as “Gabby” by his friends, Glenn loved to cook, socialize, and entertain those around him and spent his later years volunteering his time at Baptist South Hospital and playing pinochle at the Mandarin Senior Center. His memorable sense of humor and unparalleled pride and love for his family will not be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
