Jean M. (McEwan) Pilgrim

Jean A. (McEwan) Pilgrim, 91, a lifelong resident of Westfield, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019. She was born in Westfield, the daughter of Wallace and Marguerite (Cook) McEwan. Jean graduated from Westfield High and worked part-time at HB Smith, Connors Book Store, Schwers and Whites Gifts. She loved to read, shop for bargains and spend time with her grandchildren. She was married 66 years to the late Raymond Pilgrim. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Paulin and her husband Bernard, her son David Pilgrim and his wife Deborah; grandchildren, Brian Paulin and his wife Sheri, Michael Paulin and his wife Suzanne, Tom Paulin and his wife Sue, Alison Alger and her husband Richard and Ben Pilgrim; great-grandchildren Calli and Lexi Paulin, Cailyn and Cole Alger. She also leaves her sister Marilyn McDaniel of Westfield. All services will be private and burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield.
