Jean T. (Templeton) Rainey, 88, passed away on September 29, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Boston, MA to the late James and Lucy (Fuller) Templeton. She was raised in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School and received her Associates Degree from Vermont College in Business. Jean worked at Columbia Bicycle as a secretary, where she met her husband, Harry. She received her broker’s license, worked as a ski instructor at Mt. Tom for 30 years and in the pro shop at Tekoa Country Club. She was an avid Patriots, Red Sox, Celtic and New York Giants fan. She also enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a member of the Western Mass Golf Association. Sadly, Jean was predeceased by her beloved husband Harry Rainey and two children, Peter Rainey and Patricia Trzasko. She is survived by two children, Pamela Martel and her husband Don of Wilbraham and Philip Rainey and his wife Deborah of Ludlow, ten grandchildren, Eric, Brooke, Brett, Alycia, Donielle, Dionna, Ella, Jill, John and Kara, and six great grandchildren, Julia, Bella, Ethan, Ledger, Billie and Indiana. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 10th at 1:00PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Western Ave. Westfield, MA.
