John Jemiolo

On Friday, November 15, 2019, John Jemiolo, loving husband and father of two children passed away at the age of 72. John was born July 22, 1947 in Springfield, MA to John and Margaret Jemiolo. John married Patricia Laptew on September 23, 1972 and raised two children. He attended Westfield Trade High School and graduated in 1966. He served in the US Army as a radar mechanic for three years. John started working at Digital Equipment in 1972 where he continued to work until his untimely death. He had a passion for hunting with his brother Stephan and their friends. He also had a love for riding his motorcycle and loved going on long rides with his friends. He loved gardening and spending time at his local Rod and Gun Club. He was known for his sense of humor and his work ethics and for his ability to fix anything from mechanical to building a house. John was preceded in death by his father John and his mother Margaret. He is survived by his wife Patricia, his two children Sarah Pattison and her husband Curt and his son Andrew, his sister Linda Parody and her husband Gary and his brother Stephen and his wife Doris and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday November 20th at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street from 4-7. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 am in Holy Trinity Church, 330 Elm Street. Burial will follow in Sliver Street Cemetery in Granville.
