Marie F Fisher

Westfield-Marie F. Fisher, 78, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 in a local nursing home. She was born in Springfield on July 11, 1941 to the late Frank and Helen (Smitkiewicz) Batytes. She has been a resident of Westfield for the past 15 years. She was a parishioner of St. Peter’s and St. Casimir’s Parish where she was a Lector, Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Rosary Sodality. She was a volunteer driver for the Westfield Senior Center and an organist for St. Mary’s Church in Hampden. Marie enjoyed going to the Holyoke Blue Sox, Springfield Thunderbirds games and sewing and knitting. A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday October 2nd at 10 am in St. Peter’s and St. Casimir’s Parish, 22 State Street, Westfield. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in the VA Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Marie may be made to the church. Firtionadams.com
