Valmore J. Prest

In loving memory of Valmore Prest 85 of Westfield, Ma who passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2019. After attending Westfield schools Val served in the United States Navy, following his service to our country Val worked for Bendix Abrasives for 32 years. He then worked for the City of Westfield Parks Department until he retired. He was a member of American Legion Post 124 and a lifetime member of VFW. Val will be missed by his entire family. He leaves his wife of 62 years Irene Juknevicz, a son Mark E Pest and fiancé Catherine Ross, daughter Valerie Baker and her husband David, grandchildren Mark Prest Jr., Matt Prest and his wife Jeannie, Michael Prest and Julie Tolek, Mitchell Prest, Brian Baker and Jeffery Baker. Two Great grandchildren Caleb and Nora Prest. A sister Ceil Pilbrow and nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Agawam, Ma with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boys and Girls Club of Westfield, Ma. Firtion Adams is charge if all arrangements.
