Alexander “Tookie” Navaroli
Westfield, MA – Alexander “Tookie” Navaroli, 80, of Westfield, passed away on August 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family and his faithful dog, Ayla.
Born and raised in the Connecticut River Valley, Tookie was known for his big personality, his sense of humor, and his ability to light up any room he entered. He loved the outdoors and spent much of his life hunting, fishing, and collecting just about anything he could get his hands on. Above all, he cherished time with his family and friends, where his laughter and stories made every gathering brighter.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Mildred Navaroli, age 100, his brother, Raymond Navaroli, and his children, Alika Travassos, Heather Smith, Jason Navaroli, Christine Cooley, and Brenda Purdy. Tookie was the proud grandfather of Keila Travassos, Akira Travassos, Rachel Ouellette, Calvin Kaeka, Kiana Vierra, Darren Smith, Dwayne Smith, Danye De Barros, Davonte De Barros, Robert Coggins, Ryan Coggins, Alyssa Simpson, Rebecca Harris, Kurt Taylor, and Sydney Purdy. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren, including Hunter and River Taylor.
Tookie’s legacy lives on in the love he gave, the joy he shared, and the countless memories his family and friends will carry forever.
