Alexandre Venkov Obituary

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Alexandre Venkov, who departed this world peacefully at home on November 19, 2025, surrounded by his family.

A man of quiet strength, boundless curiosity, and a heart rooted deeply in nature, he found joy in life’s simplest and most beautiful moments. He loved planting and gardening, nurturing everything he touched into a thriving life. His homemade wine and rakia—crafted with patience, pride, and tradition—were symbols of his creativity and his love of sharing with others. Whether walking along the beach, wandering through nature, or taking long walks embraced by the outdoors, he found peace and inspiration wherever the earth met the sky.

He was a talented mechanical engineer and served as Vice President at a cutlery factory, where his precision, leadership, and innovative thinking left a lasting legacy. He dreamed endlessly—of building an airplane, constructing a home from the ground up, and bringing ideas to life with his hands and his imagination.

Above all, he cherished his family. He was married to the love of his life, Ginka Venkova, for 56 beautiful years, and together they shared 60 years of unwavering partnership—a bond rooted in devotion, respect, shared dreams, and a lifetime of standing by each other’s side.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Ginka Venkova; his son, Milen Mihaylov; his daughter, Polina Jitov and son-in-law, Nikolay Jitov; his cherished two grandchildren, Sophia Jitov and Grace Jitov; and his brother Peter Mihaylov—each of whom carries his love, lessons, and spirit forward.

He will be remembered for his gentle humor, the wisdom he offered so freely, his love for the land, and the countless ways he made life richer for everyone around him.
