Anita L. (Biondi) Cox

Westfield – Anita Louise Cox, entered into eternal rest on 9/13/23. She was the wife of Roger P. Cox married in 1959 for 64 years. Born in Springfield, on 8/5/39; daughter of the late Horace P. Biondi and Angelina E. (Bermani) Biondi. She graduated from Cathedral High School in 1956. A 1957 graduate of Springfield Technical School for dental assisting and worked in local dental offices as an assistant and office manager. Anita and her husband were world travelers and loved long cruises. They spent many years motor boating and sailing on Lake George, NY. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield. She leaves her loving husband Roger and son Roger Jr. and his wife Lisa Ann (Disley) Cox of Ludlow. Calling hours will be held from 9-11 am on Friday, September 15th at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. A service will follow at 11 am. Burial will follow service in St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a local animal shelter of your choice. www.firtionadams.com
