Camille C. Bienvenue, Jr., 81, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at home in Southwick surrounded by his family. He was born in Pittsfield to the late Yvonne and Camille C. Bienvenue, Sr. and was a graduate of Pittsfield High School. Cam started his career as a licensed electrician with T. King Haswell in the late 1950’s. Then worked for the City of Pittsfield as an electrician working his way up to Assistant Superintendent from 1969-1981. He then took a position with ServiceMaster and was trained in hospital administration and management, responsible for plant operations and new construction. He worked for ServiceMaster earning many Performance Awards for Excellence. He finished his career working his way up to the Vice President at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. He retired in 2010. Cam enjoyed walks at Stanley Park, fishing in NY with his brothers, camping, making his signature spaghetti sauce and remarkable meat stuffing. In the past two years Cam purchased a town home in Daytona FL – he called it his “happy place”, he also loved his cars and motorcycles and Daytona was the perfect place to be. Anyone who knew him will remember him for his classic cars …the 1957 Thunderbird, 1960 Corvette and 1964 Chevy Impala. You could find him on the weekends at the car shows where he would proudly display his own classics. For those that knew Cam, one could attest to his selfless and humble character, he was a man of integrity and pride and would do for others before himself. This was especially true when it came to his own family, family always came first! Sadly, Cam was predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Shirley A. (Romeo) Bienvenue in 2017, two brothers Roy Bienvenue and Leo Bienvenue, two sisters Eileen Biasin and Beatrice Jacobs and a granddaughter, Michelle M. Farnsworth. He is survived by his loving children, Brenda J. Farnsworth and her husband John, Connie R. Burke and her husband Jeff, Spencer C. Bienvenue, Timothy W. Bienvenue and his wife Danielle, Todd A. Bienvenue and his wife Tisha. He was always so proud of his eleven grandchildren, Alyssa N. Farnsworth, Devin M. Farnsworth, Hannah C. Burke, Liam J. Burke, Caden Bienvenue, Kyle Bienvenue, Tyler M. Bienvenue, Dylan T. Bienvenue, Ryder D. Bienvenue, Wyatt A. Bienvenue and Madison B. Bienvenue.
