Carlos E. DeJesus

Carlos Dejesus formerly of Westfield, MA. Age 67, fell asleep in death on Friday, September 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 3, 1958, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, to the late Casito Dejesus and Carmen M. Diaz-Luciano. He was one of four children and is survived by his brothers, Wilfredo “Fredo” Dejesus and Julio Cesar Gonzales.Carlos shared 46 wonderful years with his devoted wife, Teresa Dejesus. Together they raised three children, who were his pride and joy: • Carlos W. Dejesus and his wife Zuleika Dejesus, along with their children Keisha, Ariana, Zuliana, and Ciara • Delia Livette Schooler and her children Brian, Mason, and Dillon • Luis Garcia and his wife Molly Garcia Carlos dearly loved his mother, Carmen, and her passing was an especially difficult time for him. Even so, he continued to embrace life, cherishing every moment he could spend with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He dedicated 49 years of service to HB Smith before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. Outside of work, Carlos had a lifelong love for sports. In his younger years, he played in local softball leagues, and in later years he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams, the New York Yankees and the New England Patriots. Carlos will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. His warmth, sense of humor, and deep love for his family will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Calling hours for Carlos will be held on Saturday from 10 AM- 12 Noon in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
