Caroline Elizabeth McCoubrey (Bryant), 98, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 19,2024 after complications due to Covid. Caroline was born in Leeds, ME to the late Arthur and Elizabeth Bryant. “Nana,” as she was known to most people, spent her years not only as a homemaker but as a volunteer at Noble Hospital and for the Westfield Public Schools. Caroline had the best stories to tell about her life, living in 17 different places throughout. Besides her parents, Caroline was predeceased by her brother, Richard and her sister Evelyn. She was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, George, and 2 of her sons Charles McCoubrey and Kenneth McCoubrey. She is survived by her son, David (Cheryl) of Blandford and John (Barbara) of Westfield. She leaves 4 grandchildren, Kimberly, Jason, Michelle and James and 2 great-grandchildren, Layton and Preston. She also leaves her nephew Ricky and his wife Lynn and their children, David and Allison, and an extended family in Maine that she talked about quite often. The family wishes to thank the amazing team at Mont Marie Rehab and the team at Beacon Hospice but cannot express their gratitude enough to the staff at Southwick Village where she resided for almost 2 years. They went above and beyond to make sure that she was cared for until the end. www.firtionadams.com
