Cassandra A. (Rines) Serrano

Cassandra A. (Rines) Serrano, 87, passed away at home with her daughter by her side, on May 3, 2026. She was born in Westfield to the late Harold S. and Irene M. (Welch) Rines. Cassandra owned and operated her own house cleaning business for many years. She enjoyed working out in the yard and working in the garden. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 26 years, Richard F. Serrano in 2019 and two brothers, Wayne and Richard Rines. Cassandra was loved and will be missed by her daughter Michelle A. Sampson with Todd Conant of Westfield, her son, Richard Sampson of New Hampshire, eight grandchildren, Brenda, Matthew, Darren, Kristie, Sara, Josh, Emily and Evan and six great grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth, Gianni, Imogen, Hudson and Sawyer and a brother Harold “Butch” Rines of Westfield. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 3PM in the Massachusetts veterans memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam, MA.
