Craig J. Marge, 54 passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born on New Year’s Eve in Westfield in 1969. Craig enlisted in the navy in 1988, serving aboard the USS America air craft carrier during the Persian Gulf War. He was a hard worker, helping his brother Jason at JTM Construction and building together the banquet room at East Mountain Country Club. Craig also did grounds maintenance there for plus 18 years, as well, working closely with his step-dad Jim.
Craig loved animals, fishing, dirt biking, camping, playing hockey for Westfield Youth Hockey for many years and playing cards, to which he never minded losing. He also had a heavy metal band and practiced many nights in his basement in Russell.
Craig leaves behind his mom Linda Perez and step dad James, his father John Marge and step mother Sharon Hunton. Survived by his brother Jason Marge and 2 special nephews Jayden and Justin, and sister in law Andrea Marge. He also leaves behind his long-time significant other Daniele Buscemi, Smokey his precious cat and a plethora of cousins.
The calling hours for Craig will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 4-7PM in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Military Honors will be held at 6:30PM in the funeral home. www.firtionadams.com
