Springfield- David E. Bradley Sr., 91, died Friday, August 21, 2020 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Addison, Maine on August 12, 1929 to the late Whitney and Lorena (Bangs) Bradley. He was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as a dispatcher at Hamilton Standard for many years and retired in 1994. He was an avid golfer and his favorite hobby was the time he spent with his son Paulie and the relationship they had. He was pre-deceased by his wife Mildred in 1985. He leaves his children Lawrence Bradley of Springfield, Thomas Bradley of North Carolina, Gail Baker of Springfield, Glen Bradley and his wife Cheri of Agawam, Robert Bradley of Springfield and Paul Bradley of Springfield, his 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and his sister Bertha Welch of East Longmeadow. He was pre-deceased by his twin brother Robert who died 5 days after birth, his eldest son David E. Bradley Jr. and his siblings Whitney, Walace, Richard, Roger, Mary Messer and Lorena Brown. The funeral for David will be held on Thursday August 27th at 10 am from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6-8 pm. firtionadams.com
