David Sullivan

David Sullivan, 81, passed away on Monday, February  9, 2026 at Fairview Commons in Great Barrington. He was born in Springfield to the late William and Mary (Shea) Sullivan, he was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Westfield and received a degree in boiler making from STCC. Dave worked for many years in the supermarket industry, He started as a bag boy for First National, went on to work at Edwards and retired from the Stop and Shop in East Longmeadow. He was a member of the Sons of Erin in Westfield and loved going to the Irish Cultural Center in West Springfield.  He loved family vacations to N. Truro on the Cape and he was always up for a good time and loved his beer. Sadly, besides his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Shannon L. Furioni in 2022 and his survived by his beloved wife, Janet (Karella) Sullivan, his son Seth D. Sullivan of Westfield, his brother Dan Sullivan and his wife Sabina of Westfield, his sister Mary Elizabeth Mars and her husband Daniel of Florida and his grand son Ronan Sullivan. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 5PM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street Westfield, MA 01085, visiting hours will be prior to the service from 2-5PM in the funeral home.
