Diane M. (Boisvert) McLeod-Packer, born to Edythe and Armond Boisvert on June 24, 1946 passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025. She spent her childhood between a farm in NH, the edge of San Francisco Bay, and the North Shore of Massachusetts. She was a graduate of Danvers High School and Massachusetts College of Art. This is where she explored the world of sculpture, which became her true passion. She exhibited her work nationally and internationally, receiving numerous awards. She also had a passion for watercolor, sewed and beaded skating outfits, was an avid gardener, and taught cake decorating at North Shore Vocational High School to name a few of her talents.
Diane is survived by her husband Leslie Packer Sr, her son Gordon McLeod and his wife Kathryn of Aiken, SC, her daughter Martha (McLeod) Gendron and her husband Tony of Westfield, her grandsons Connor, Logan, and Owen Gendron, step son, Leslie Packer, Jr., wife Janet, step daughter Barbara (Parker) Webb and husband Pat both of Florida, her brothers Richard Boisvert, Ronald Boisvert, Armond Boisvert, and sister Crystal Ogert, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother, father, and sister Loise.
Services will be held at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085 on June 14, 2025. Calling hours will be from 1pm to 3pm with a service immediately following.
