Doris A. (Gagnon) Deaton

Doris Amanda Deaton, 99 of Southwick, MA. Born Nov. 24, 1925 passed away peacefully on Feb. 6, 2025 after a long illness. She was predeceased, tragically, by her husband Richard, in 1975, three children, Diane, Scott, Bobby and brother Robert and sister Claire all too soon. She is survived by three other children Richard and family, Linda and family and Gary and family. plus many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Ronald Gagnon, and his family. She was very proud to be the matriarch of five generations and passed along her determined, independent nature to many of her remaining family. She maintained a home and garden well into her 90’s.
