Dorothy L. (Halla) Parenzo

Dorothy L. Parenzo, 98, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Westfield to the late Harry and Louise (Michalicka) Halla. She was the owner and operator of Dottie’s Beauty Salon in Westfield and was a beautician for many years. Dottie was an avid reader, loved doing crossword puzzles, word jumbles and knitting. She loved her retired racing greyhound Patty and enjoyed watching horse and greyhound racing. Sadly, Dottie was predeceased by her husband Louis Parenzo in 2009 and very recently, her son Dana Parenzo, on November 5, 2024. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, friends, and neighbors.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Dorothy and Dana on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 12 noon in Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085 followed by a Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Westfield.
