Earle L. Brick, Age 74, passed away at home on July 7 of natural causes.
The son of the late Earle S. & Ruby E. (Robertson) Brick, He was pre-deceased by his son Vincent Dupois.
Survived by his sister Deborah Brick of Springfield and his daughter Danyle (Kemp) Dabkowski of Agawam, as well as 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Earle attended West Springfield schools and at 16 was accepted into Berklee School of Music.
He survived the polio epidemic of the early 50’s. He was a US Navy veteran and proud member of the Marine Corp League of Westfield, MA.
In addition, he was 45 year Master Mason, having been raised to the Sublime Degree in 1975.
His interests included playing the drums, Revolutionary War re-enactments, and travel to his beloved Scotland.
Earle was the primary source behind refurbishing of Rock Valley Cemetery in Holyoke, having replaced and remarked many graves. He was most proud of the ancestral connection to Capt Daniel Ludington, who was a leader of Shay’s Rebellion. Anyone who knew Earle knew he certainly loved a rebellion.
There will be a calling hour on Wednesday, July 15 from 5-6, with a service following at 6:00 at Firtion-Adams Funeral Home, 76 Broad St., Westfield, MA.
